So I wrote Signs of the Disiac Part 1 in November and stated I’d have part 2 the next week, see what had happened was….Hey how about that Charlie Sheen? He’s crazy…yup…he’s crazy…

Part 1 was an observation of what women find as turn-ons in men, Part 2 is an experience and education of what men find as turn-ons in women. Contrary to popular belief, men CAN actually see beyond the booty and the breasteseses (eventually); we are also partial to some additional bits like oral skills including the demeanour, mental capabilities, characteristics and accessories. If a woman has no other dimensions to her apart from the body there’s only so long a man can be interested; sure he’ll have sex with you but his vans will still be on so he can prepare his exit after climax…what else is he there for?

So in a bid to stray away from the clichéd sex turns on (until Part 3 which WILL be next week) I’m gonna look at 6 semi to non-cliched sexy turn-ons for men when it comes to women….Signs of the Aphrodisiac

When She Wears His Shirt/T-Shirt

If casual nightwear represented the Premier league then a headwrap would be in the relegation zone woman in her man’s T-Shirt/Shirt would be in Champion’s League places easily. Whether it be work shirts, casual shirts, long t-shirts, sporty t-shirts, or shirt of a man’s favourite sports team, we like seeing a woman in it. Wearing a man’s shirt gives women points because

a) Their femininity stands out forcing a brother to want to get all sentimental and sweet and canoodle
b) They look secure and happy to be in the warmth of the man’s belongings, which gives a man sense of subtle ownership and masculinity
c) It attracts a man to her features outside of the “masculine” shirt, which is more or less her bare legs, which ALWAYS seem to look smooth and available for stroking

Of course it doesn’t just have to be a T-shirt/Shirt, some men like when girls wear their hooded jumpers, sweaters, shorts, tracksuit bottoms etc. It varies depending on the guy, but gentlemen please keep the clothes clean and in decent condition. No woman feels sexy wearing a dude’s stained shirt, holy T-shirt or one-sleeved hoodie, you’re not 4.

Initiative

All men require women to be freaky in some shape or form; it’s a subconscious fantasy that resonates deep in the mind of every man when he encounters a woman in the bedroom. Do you know what the fantasy usually begins with? Her taking the initiative. A woman expects a man to take initiative in most aspects of their relationship to one another, be it the approach, being there when she needs him or popping the question; so it is somewhat special when a woman takes initiative in the bedroom or build up to it.

Why must she have initiative? Because she has the power of the “No”. When a man wants sex or something related and the woman says no…It comes to an abrupt Sopranos finale style end, leaving him walking around with a boner and crying like Nani. A woman is capable of saying No which sometimes makes the guy feel like he is forcing the issue (which he is); When a woman takes initiative she is indicating to the man that she is FULLY on it, the freak comes out and what follows is usually a beautiful thing. And when have you ever heard a brother say no to sex?

Initiative options: Dressing Up in lingerie/sexy outfit, going in for the kiss, jumping on top of him, making the first foreplay move`

Nurturing

The first of two subconscious turn-ons in the list. To have a woman take care of a man and enjoy it is one of the sexiest feelings for him because she is feeding his wants/needs, his ego and ultimately his stomach without feeling that she is forced. It is minor details such as massages when he’s stressed or well-cooked meals when he comes from work, footie, gym etc that bring a smile and rise out of him.

The majority of men are mummy’s boys and enjoy the idea of a woman who can take up a similar role and expand on it because of her relationship with him. She becomes the provider and a man can sit back and enjoy the company as well as observe how lucky he is to have a woman who can throw down when need be. It’s sexy.

When we see that a woman is providing for us in this way we will return the favour tenfold in the bedroom. Take care of him and he Takes care of you. It’s only necessary

Sense of Humour

Let me put you ladies in on a little secret, brothers love to laugh too. Exchanging banter with the opposite sex is something we love doing and if she can keep up with us the potential is endless. It’s all good making you crack up all the time and we have no problem with it, but if you can make us chuckle too, it’s a match made in comedy heaven.

You haven’t got to be Ellen, Monique, Sommore or Tina Fey type of funny (mainly because that would make you funnier than us, which in theory is great but in practice will only end in tears as we succumb to your sarcasm as you laugh loudly in victory) just funny.

Playfulness and wit in relationship keeps it healthy and once you have a brother laughing when you’re outside, at one point he’ll probably be thinking “wait til we get home”.

Glasses

Over the years men have found a new appreciation for glasses on women. Though the cliché of the sexy secretary is still evident we are more attracted to other connotations of the frames, Authority, Intelligence and Mystery. I don’t know if we’re just an over-sexualised gender (I do know really, Im just playing the ‘none the wiser” role) but when we see an attractive girl in the right frames we automatically think there’s a seductress behind the glasses.

The mystery compels us and in addition to the association with intelligence and authority gives us more reason to think that she’s a dark horse, smart enough to keep a man on his toes and freaky enough to teach him new things.

Slick frames are better than fishbowl frames, Im just saying you’re not gonna get attention if you look like Milhouse.

Mental-Strength

Mental strength is a trait all women have, but the levels are different. Men are hugely turned on by a woman who believes in herself and has the confidence to speak her mind and tire easily of women who constantly need to be reassured, act a bit too timidly and play victims too easily.

As we bounce off of the energy of women, if she is always in self-doubt we begin to falter in some aspect as there is no balance. The aphrodisiac comes in the balance of strength shown between a man and woman.

We like women who can think for themselves and have high self-esteem. We see it as challenging, a sign of assurance and adds a welcomed different dimension to the ideology of a “woman being at our beck and call” ←- we don’t respect that type of woman.
